Hi, I'm Dr. Arianna S. Long

I am a NASA Hubble Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Texas at Austin, and Chief Programming Officer at VanguardSTEM. Starting Fall 2024, I will be an Assistant Professor in the Department of Astronomy at the University of Washington. 

I study galaxy evolution in the early cosmos, and I am a mentor, writer, and speaker interested in building more equitable STEM spaces.

My research spans a variety of topics, all of which seek to understand how massive galaxies form, grow, and die in the early cosmos.
